Even now, at this very late stage, the solicitors are STILL finding fucking bits of soooo very important paperwork that they just haven’t’got round’ to doing! Yesterday, an email that I HAD to print out, sign, with a fucking witness, no less, and return, at the cost of £6.85! So I’m doing the 16/8. Last time I went for a run in the morning, I got about 5k and completely ran out of useable energy. It absolutely crashed me, I literally had to walk back! Never have I crashed to such an extent before. One of the guys in our run club suggested dextrose tabs. Well, I went out about midday, which is normally when I would have lunch after the morning fast. Took a couple of tabs at first. Felt ok. Kept running. Got to 5k, felt my energy starting to ebb, took another one, and one last one with about 3k left. Kept me going, all the way back! Wasn’t even hungry! Didn’t have lunch until 3.00! A successful experiment I’d say!

I went to get my flu vaccine today, just made it as the Dorset solicitor called me not long before I was due to leave. So I follow DX euromax on Facebook, that’s a sort of nice channel with stories from Germany and Europe. It’s good and informative. I can’t describe how I feel about the shit poor fly by night online estate agents called “Purple Bricks” . More like ‘PurpleDicks’ ! They send you copious emails and phone messages and texts, each from a different person, none of who, have read the previous ones notes, with contradictory garbage. We are on our way back from town after after a nice coffee and cakes today. Town was busy and it’s a showery. Along Marine drive, the road back into Rhos, there’s something going on, traffic stopped on either side, which is unusual. We see a few folk gathered round an elderly lady on the pavement. I stop to see if I can help, and she flat on her back, blood all over head and face. I don’t really think that HMG is fully responsible for the current fuel delivery crisis. We are a market economy, employers are responsible for their employees. If they don’t look after them, they leave! Same as the NHS, private health care. That’s why there are huge bills for agency staff in health care. So I’m starting this 16/8 regime: you can only eat in an 8 hour slot of the day. I try and get out for run on Saturday, but I’m not eating until after 12.00. I’m busy doing stuff, so I don’t get out until after 1.00. I start off ok, get up into Penrhyn Bay at about 5 kilometres. Then I start to feel very tired. I can barely run anywhere! My feet are like lead, I have to stop running and just walk. I can think why, I feel a bit light headed. Then! Then I realise, I am running on empty! Literally! These energy companies, what are they? Just retailers, nothing more. All they are is ‘middle men’ : often ‘fly by night’ set ups that have just enough funding to buy in at wholesale prices, and sell on as quickly as possible and turn a quick profit. Like a dodgy market trader, the “Del Boys” of energy. Does Del expect the British tax payer to keep his business afloat when he can’t turn a profit on his gas prices? No, he doesn’t. Where’s all the money coming from? My business was, and still basically is, on its knees during lock down. I never got a free £10,000 just because I had a business premises, no I am domiciliary, so apparently I didn’t deserve fuck all! Nice, well done Boris, you asshole.
