 So I’m starting this 16/8 regime: you can only eat in an 8 hour slot of the day. 


I try and get out for run on Saturday, but I’m not eating until after 12.00.

I’m busy doing stuff, so I don’t get out until after 1.00.

I start off ok, get up into Penrhyn Bay at about 5 kilometres. Then I start to feel very tired.

I can barely run anywhere! My feet are like lead, I have to stop running and just walk.

I can think why, I feel a bit light headed. Then! Then I realise, I am running on empty! Literally!


A salutary lesson, never run 🏃‍♀️ on an empty stomach…..
