 So I’m doing the 16/8. Last time I went for a run in the morning, I got about 5k and completely ran out of useable energy. 

It absolutely crashed me, I literally had to walk back! Never have I crashed to such an extent before. 

One of the guys in our run club suggested dextrose tabs. 

Well, I went out about midday, which is normally when I would have lunch after the morning fast.

Took a couple of tabs at first. Felt ok. Kept running. Got to 5k, felt my energy starting to ebb, took another one, and one last one with about 3k  left. 

Kept me going, all the way back! Wasn’t even hungry! Didn’t have lunch until 3.00! 

A successful experiment I’d say!
