These energy companies, what are they?
Just retailers, nothing more. All they are is ‘middle men’ : often ‘fly by night’ set ups that have just enough funding to buy in at wholesale prices, and sell on as quickly as possible and turn a quick profit.
Like a dodgy market trader, the “Del Boys” of energy.
Does Del expect the British tax payer to keep his business afloat when he can’t turn a profit on his gas prices? No, he doesn’t.
So why is HMG talking about doing this then? Lobbying, that’s why, certain people with links to ministers who are proposing this in hope of ‘benefits’ if you know what I mean.
Just like dodgy ex prime minister Cameron got ‘benefits’ via his link to the chancellor. £££££££££.
We should NOT be paying out our tax money just so these dodgy companies can make a profit!
No one offered ME a ‘bail out’ during bloody Covid!
