So far, we still wait: mum was supposed to have arrived in her new flat now. But no, the conveyancing solicitor says yet another 6-12 weeks! The buyers are naturally disappointed, but up to now, the estate agent was planning for 3 months for the searches from West Dorset Council anyway. 

But the estate agent then tells me the buyers mortgage company have accepted the search liability insurance, and can they move next week! 

Well no, not now…
