I don’t really think that HMG is fully responsible for the current fuel delivery crisis.

We are a market economy, employers are responsible for their employees. If they don’t look after them, they leave!

Same as the NHS, private health care. That’s why there are huge bills for agency staff in health care. But, just like HGV drivers from our country, no one gives them any credence, and now we suffer the result.

Yes, the government should have recognised this and done, well, what? I don’t know.

Surely the union’s should be more proactive, instead of just taking their payments every month? Why don’t we hear their voice raised ?

Our country has lost the ‘balance’ needed to maintain a good working environment for too many working people. Too much power over employees, not enough benefits of working.

That’s also why so many are on benefits to start with! More benefits for them to NOT work! How is that right?

No joined up thinking, no thinking through consequences. Too many corrupt politicians on take ( see: David Cameron, lobbying the chancellor through back channels, sleazy bastard)

I don’t know when or if this will ever change, stumbling from one problem to another thanks to incompetence leadership…
